Cantate pour le service funèbre de Leopold d’Anhalt-Köthen
Quand en 1728, meurt le Prince de Köthen, son ancien Kapellmeister n’a pas oublié les cinq années flamboyantes jadis passées à son service. Il lui dédiera une cantate funèbre presque entièrement construite sur la musique de deux œuvres majeures de cette époque : la Trauer-Ode et la Passion selon saint Matthieu. La partition est perdue, mais le livret et de nombreuses informations permettent aujourd'hui de restituer l’ouvrage. Ce premier enregistrement de Raphaël Pichon pour harmonia mundi a été élu enregistrement de l’année aux Victoires de la Musique Classique 2015.
